About this Talk

In this session you will learn how to develop CT skills through playful proposals integrated to common learning experiences in Early Childhood. CT integration in early childhood aligns with general objectives in kindergarten such as problem solving, critical thinking, exploration, curiosity, creativity and collaboration. Help your students learn about technology, by understanding how it works and learning how to think with creativity and logic. CT is the key factor to learn how to program a computer and can be learnt by combining the development of four different skills: Decomposition Pattern recognition Abstraction Algorithmic thinking Unplugged coding activities and games offer students in Early Childhood Education the possibility to experience spatial reasoning, learn coding vocabulary, basic programming commands and comprehend how robots are programmed to move around a grid. A session with easy-for-teachers activities to do with young learners in the classroom.
