In August 2018, Mindsinaction in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Library in Windhoek introduced a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Program that aims to offer Namibian learners a new approach to knowledge and unveil a path to the application of 21st century skills.
The STEM Program's objective is to expose learners to problem identification and prototype based solutions through hand-on activities of robotics. The program exposes grades 6 - 12 learners and out of school youth, to lots of practice, projects, group work and participation to gain useful skills in automation technology, robotics, programming/codding, and problem solving.
Our presentation will focus on how we started, what we offer, impact so far, and our future aspirations. The presenters are, Mr. Ndaudika Mulundileni, Managing Director at Mindsinaction and Mr. Detlef Pfeifer, Head of Library at the Goethe Institut Windhoek.
