About this speaker
Aspen Meineke is an international speaker, STEM Education consultant and has been in STEM Education for the past 10 years. She is passionate about working with students and schools to reignite their spark for STEM and redefine what STEM means to them inside and outside of the classroom. Aspen has spoken to over 6,000 students from 86 schools across the globe, from the United States to Africa and Australia. She has also given talks for clients like Sphero, Space Teams, and the USA Science and Engineering Festival. During the pandemic, Aspen worked with TikTok as a content creator to create educational science content for the platform.
Aspen has extensive experience in teaching, curriculum writing and program development for students in K-12 and has worked with partners like NASA to bring STEM programming to students across the United States. She has had her programming featured on an episode of Nickelodeon's "Nick News" and gave a TED-Ed talk at the 2019 International Society for Technology in Education Conference called, "Help Students Find Their Spark".
Aspen has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio and currently runs an education company in New York City.
